that ye should shew forth the praises 1 Peter 2: 9

That you may declare his virtues. 1 Peter 2:9

 1 peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

¹⁰ Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Exodus 27:21  In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

Introduction:! HIGH POSITION THAT CHRISTIANS HAVE TO GOD! Also in this world we have and sometimes not even them we perceive it. - We will now consider the large charges that God in His infinite mercy and grace gave us, in chapter 28 of Exodus we see the importance of priests for the beautiful dress they carried. Let us live as priests in a holy life that glorifies God and proclaim his virtues, the virtues of God, of Christ, into the world, that is our focus today. -

Chosen:
As the descendants of Levi were called to the priesthood, so we, the Church of Christ we are called to the noble profession of priesthood. We are the chosen race. It is currently the highest office in the land. No charge higher than this. Neither the kings of this world or the princes neither the doctors nor the presidents have this honor of being the chosen people of God. Our position is heavenly, work to the God of Heaven. We must honor this position with a holy life away from wickedness.

ROYAL PRIESTHOOD:
A royal priesthood - We have the dignity of kings, and spiritually we are priests. "- Compare Revelation 1:6," And hath made us kings and priests unto God. "
So great is our business and since God gave us. He sees us as kings and priests. -
As the priest is our job to bring the sinner to God. Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

² Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

Get the atonement of their sins before God. How great is our ministries today. - Did not use the dress of the priesthood of the Old Testament, Exodus 28:2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
Our clothes should be spiritual, that of a holy life pleasing to God. We do not offer animal sacrifices, but proclaim Christ's sacrifice at all times. We walk with the true Lamb of God. We do not work in the tabernacle or temple but we work in the Church of Christ in this world. Brothers live a life dedicated to God, we are separated from the world for their service. May God make us unfit as priests to make that are lost as it can bring them out of the tent and reconcile with who is in the most holy place, our Great God almighty and holy. -

HOLY NATION:
Exodus 28:36 You shall make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
Today this church is God's holy nation. All of the Church we are a chosen people, we are royal priests, a holy people of God, SANTOS: mean apart from the world and from the evil and sin and consecrated to the service of God with a performance worthy of the priesthood. Holiness must be the property in the way of life that is seen of the priests. We. "Be holy because I am holy" 1 Peter 1:16. Just the book of the priests, the book of Leviticus also speaks of holiness, as believers are sanctified by Christ to be holy. Leviticus 11:44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I am holy, so do not defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the ground.
Young believers and must live in holiness, discard all drink beer and alcohol, dances and carnivals all wantonness of the flesh. -

Peculiar people:
We purchased by the blood of Christ. He bought us with His precious blood. 1 Peter 1:18-19. knowing that you were redeemed from the empty way of life received by tradition from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,
1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, ..
He redeemed us with his blood all Ephesians 1:7. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace,
Christ purchased the Church with His precious blood. Acts 20: 28. Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
Purchased by the blood of Christ, with Christ to heaven I will.


That you may declare his virtues:
We are put on this earth to announce, that is to proclaim the virtues of God to the world. - 1 Peter 1:16 For it is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy.
For all that God did in us and through us our lives should reflect virtues of God and Christ. John 6:57 "live by me" We are now living for Christ, should see Christ in us. We must be the visible form of God. Our conduct should reflect the living God.

You are required more to the family of kings, the sons of kings are observed by the world over, should be examples of every citizen. So we believers are also what we should enhance, do excel the wonderful virtues of the King of kings. -

God willing, we reflect on our lives to Christ and be so light in the midst of this lost world. -

PARA QUE ANUNCIEIS SUS VIRTUDES. 1 Pedro 2:9

 2:9 Mas vosotros sois linaje escogido, real sacerdocio, nación santa, pueblo adquirido por Dios, para que anunciéis las virtudes de aquel que os llamó de las tinieblas a su luz admirable; 

2:10 vosotros que en otro tiempo no erais pueblo, pero que ahora sois pueblo de Dios; que en otro tiempo no habíais alcanzado misericordia, pero ahora habéis alcanzado misericordia.

Introducción: !!!QUE ALTA POSICION TENEMOS LOS CRISTIANOS ANTE DE DIOS!!! También en este mundo lo tenemos aunque ellos y a veces ni nosotros lo percibimos.- Iremos hoy considerando los grandes cargos que Dios en su infinita gracia y misericordia nos dio, En el capitulo 28 de éxodo se ve la importancia de los sacerdotes por la hermosa vestimenta que llevaban. Vivamos como Sacerdotes  en una vida santa que glorifica a Dios y anunciemos sus virtudes, las virtudes de Dios, de Cristo, al mundo, ese es nuestro énfasis hoy.-

PARA QUE ANUNCIEIS SUS VIRTUDES:

Estamos puestos en esta tierra para anunciar, esto es proclamar las virtudes de Dios al mundo.- 1 Pedro 1:16 porque escrito está: Sed santos, porque yo soy santo.

Por todo lo que Dios hizo en nosotros y por nosotros nuestras vidas deben reflejar las virtudes de Dios y de Cristo. Juan 6:57 "Vivirá por mi" Nosotros estamos hoy viviendo por Cristo, deberían ver a Cristo en nosotros. Nosotros debemos ser la forma visible de Dios. Nuestra conducta debe reflejar al Dios viviente.

Se le exige mas a la familia de los reyes, Los hijos de reyes son mas observados por el mundo, deben ser ejemplos de todo ciudadano. Así también nosotros los creyentes somos lo que debemos realzar, hacer sobresalir las maravillosas virtudes del Rey de reyes.-

Dios quiera estemos reflejando en nuestras vidas a Cristo y seamos así luces en medio de este mundo perdido.-

LINAJE ESCOGIDO: 
"Somos un linaje (De la descendencia , de la linea) de Reyes y Sacerdotes"

Como los descendientes de Levi fueron llamados al sacerdocio, así nosotros, la Iglesia de Cristo somos los llamados al noble oficio de sacerdocio. Somos el linaje escogido. Es el cargo más alto actual en la tierra. No hay cargo más alto que este. Ni los reyes de este mundo ni los príncipes ni los doctores ni los presidentes tienen esta honra de ser el linaje escogido de Dios. Nuestra posición es celestial, Trabajamos para el Dios del Cielo. Debemos honrar este cargo con una vida santa apartada de la impiedad.
Por todo lo que Dios hizo en nosotros y por nosotros nuestras vidas deben reflejar las virtudes de Dios y de Cristo. Juan 6:57 "Vivirá por mi" Nosotros estamos hoy viviendo por Cristo, deberían ver a Cristo en nosotros.

REAL SACERDOCIO:

Un sacerdocio real – Tenemos la dignidad de los reyes, y en lo espiritual somos sacerdotes" - . Compare Apocalipsis 1:6 , "Y nos hizo reyes y sacerdotes para Dios."

Es tan grande nuestro oficio y puesto que Dios nos dio. Nos ve como reyes y sacerdotes.-

Como sacerdote es nuestro oficio el de acercar al pecador a Dios. Hebreos 5:1 Porque todo sumo sacerdote tomado de entre los hombres es constituido a favor de los hombres en lo que a Dios se refiere, para que presente ofrendas y sacrificios por los pecados;
5:2 para que se muestre paciente con los ignorantes y extraviados, puesto que él también está rodeado de debilidad; 

Conseguir la expiación de los pecados de ellos ante Dios. Que grande es nuestros ministerios hoy.- No usamos la vestimenta del sacerdocio del antiguo testamento, Éxodo 28:2 Y harás vestiduras sagradas a Aarón tu hermano, para honra y hermosura.

Nuestras vestimentas deben ser espirituales, el de llevar una vida santa agradable a Dios. No ofrecemos sacrificios de animales, pero anunciamos el sacrificio de Cristo en todo momento. Nosotros andamos con el verdadero cordero de Dios. No trabajamos en el tabernáculo o el templo pero trabajamos en la Iglesia de Cristo en este mundo. Hermanos llevemos una vida consagrada a Dios, estemos apartados del mundo para su servicio. Que Dios nos haga aptos como sacerdotes para hacer que los perdidos que están por así decirlo afuera del tabernáculo podamos acercarlos y reconciliarlos con los quien esta adentro del lugar santísimo, nuestro Gran Dios todopoderoso y santo.-

NACION SANTA:

Éxodo: 28:36 Harás además una lámina de oro fino, y grabarás en ella como grabadura de sello, SANTIDAD A JEHOVÁ.

La Iglesia es Hoy esta nación santa de Dios. Todos los de la Iglesia somos de linaje escogido, somos reales sacerdotes, Un pueblo santo de Dios,  SANTOS: Significa apartados del mundo y de la maldad y del pecado y consagrados para el servicio a Dios con un comportamiento digno del sacerdocio. La santidad debe ser la característica en la forma de vivir que se ve de los sacerdotes. Nosotros. “Sed santos porque yo soy santo” 1 Pedro 1:16. Justo el libro de los sacerdotes, el libro de Levítico también habla de la santidad, Pues los creyentes somos santificados por Cristo para ser santos. Levítico 11:44 Porque yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios; vosotros por tanto os santificaréis, y seréis santos, porque yo soy santo; así que no contaminéis vuestras personas con ningún animal que se arrastre sobre la tierra. 

Los jóvenes creyentes ya deben vivir en la santidad, desechar la cerveza y toda bebida con alcohol, carnavales bailes y todo desenfreno de la carne.-

PUEBLO ADQUIRIDO:

Somos comprados por la sangre de Cristo. El nos compro con su sangre preciosa. 1 Pedro 1:18-19.  sabiendo que fuisteis rescatados de vuestra vana manera de vivir, la cual recibisteis de vuestros padres, no con cosas corruptibles, como oro o plata,
1:19 sino con la sangre preciosa de Cristo, como de un cordero sin mancha y sin contaminación, ..

El nos redimió a todos con su sangre  Efesios 1:7. en quien tenemos redención por su sangre, el perdón de pecados según las riquezas de su gracia, 

Cristo compro la Iglesia con su sangre preciosa. Hechos 20: 28. Por tanto, mirad por vosotros, y por todo el rebaño en que el Espíritu Santo os ha puesto por obispos, para apacentar la iglesia del Señor, la cual él ganó por su propia sangre. 

Comprados por sangre de Cristo, con Cristo al cielo yo voy.

Por todo lo que Dios hizo en nosotros y por nosotros nuestras vidas deben reflejar las virtudes de Dios y de Cristo. Juan 6:57 "Vivirá por mi" Nosotros estamos hoy viviendo por Cristo, deberían ver a Cristo en nosotros.
