the BIBLE: COMMENTING DANIEL Chapter 1 " A LIFE OF VICTORY"

DANIEL AND ITS PARTNERS IN A LIFE OF TOTAL VICTORY :
1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem , and besieged it. 1:2 And the Lord delivered into his hand Jehoiakim king of Judah , and part of the vessels of the house of God, and brought them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god , and placed the vessels in the house of treasury of his god .
* FIRST DEPORTATION OF JUDAH TO BABYLON . Year 605-536 BC . - Jehoiakim son of Josiah the king known for his piety . God forgave Josiah to be faithful but after that came the trial by centuries of sins of Israel - 2 Chronicles 36:8 the other events of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did and what was found against him , behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. His son Jehoiachin reigned in his stead .

* DANIEL AND HIS FRIENDS AS FOREIGNERS LIVING IN BABYLON . Well we do not live in this world ? We must learn to live as strangers in this world and we can not have full communion with them in worldly things. -
* When the people of God fall so low: The holy vessels of the house of God , the Temple of Jerusalem , these sacred things put in place of idols, false gods , that reminds me of a child of the Lord if that is unless the entreverándose or by worldly things instead of dirty and sinful . 1:3 And the king said Ashpenaz , his chief eunuch , to bring some of the Israelites from the royal family of the princes , 1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skilful in all wisdom , scholars in science , and understanding , and ability to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans .
* IMPORTANT FAMILY : the royal line , do not know if some of these were descendants of the throne . -
* EDUCACI'ON GOOD AND WELL CARE STUDIES : Looks were believers and good education, training and studies. Believers also are sons of kings should behave , prepare for what we are . * LOOKS AROUND GOD LEADING THE FATE OF THEIR CHILDREN AND THE PEOPLE : All this is no accident , despite the chaos of the Captivity , after all is chaos disastrous Leading God was all the history and the future , God was not defeated or acting as defeated. God was preparing everything for a great witness and evangelism to the world. Your goal in apparent defeat of his people would not shut their big goals even bigger than it was . -

1:5 And the king appointed them ration for each day, for the provision of the king's meat , and the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years , that at the end thereof they might stand before the king . 1:6 Among these were Daniel , Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah , of the sons of Judah . 1:7 To them the chief of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel , Belteshazzar , to Hananiah Shadrach, to Mishael Meshach and to Azariah , Abed -Nego .
* Here was the problem for boys . Sure knew who ate unclean things . Lev 11:2 Speak unto the children of Israel , and say : " These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Lev 11:3 " Among animals , everyone who has a split hoof , forming cloven hooves and chews , that shall ye eat .
* Insurance was a difficult time living their spiritual lives , with great caution must be adapted to so many things even another name.  11:4 But what saith the divine answer : I HAVE KEPT for Myself SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BEND THE KNEE TO BAAL .
 11:5 And in the same way , too at the present time a remnant according to the election of grace.
* CASH WAS KING , THE WORLD THEY ARE ALSO , USE AS GREAT STRATEGIES IN THE WARS . -
* THE GRACE OF GOD WITH THESE CAPTIVE . ORDER OF THE KING HAD THE GOOD TREAT . - God is merciful to their children even in the midst of great crisis to them opens a little door . -
1:8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the portion of the king's meat , nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs not to defile .

* Acted , was active , did not stay Daniel . He asked : Do not stay alone with the thought of doing as many, and then repent and say because I did , it was good and lawful and just do it and I did not. -

1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs ; 1:10 and said the chief of the eunuchs to Daniel, I fear my lord the king , who hath appointed your meat and your drink : for should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are similar to you, condemn to the king my head .
* God makes us find grace to people who need to live well in this world , in peace and harmony . Proverb says that even his enemies to be at peace with the -
What Melzar told the chief of the eunuchs was to say the least no one was in danger the life of this servant of the King, you do not run that risk as much responsibility , if only to try for ten days ( Vers 13 ) , this was caution as there would also respect God and his will, but only propose the plan for ten days this shows , I was familiar with the life of faith , know that God hears and will certainly make a great work then continued forward

 1:11 Then said Daniel to the steward whom was placed by the chief of the eunuchs over Daniel, Hananiah , Mishael, and Azariah : 1:12 I beseech you test your servants for ten days : Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink . 1:13 Then let our faces with the faces of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat , and deal with thy servants as you see . 1:14 So he consented to them in this matter , and proved them ten days. 1:15 after ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat . 1:16 So Melzar took away the portion of the food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables .
* Here we see the grace of God, the power of God working in the lives of Daniel and their peers. Reminds me 40 days and 40 nights Jesus fasted this waiting in the power of His Father . - A part that legumes are healthy and we could take a lesson from healthy , healthy eating is lawful , yet this does not explain all radiant and extensive intelligence that had these guys more than others . -

 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

* GOD GAVE : Clarifies While our text, which is spiritual wisdom that comes from heaven will be victorious over this world does not come from the earth or our brain or other or that we are gifted , not true wisdom comes from God more human intelligence prodigy one is born , heavenly wisdom comes from God and is especially child prodigy or wise of this world. - this also applies to us today , if we have wisdom from God our lives will be a light in the world, will shine enough with the light of Christ . -

1:18 Now , therefore , on the end of which the king had said he should bring them , the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar . 1:19 And the king communed with them, and there were found among them all like Daniel, Hananiah , Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. 1:20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them , he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm .

* Here we see the result of being saved and living by faith in communion with God. Then in obedience to its statutes. - THE RESULT IS THE TOTAL VICTORY , In the other study explained that way to victory is to do the will of God in our lives. Christ came to the high and unattainable victory in the death of the Cross Colossians 2:14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us , and he set aside , nailing it to the cross.
 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities , he made a public spectacle of them , triumphing over them through Him . These came to a great position in the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar and other kings later , the issue is getting to the point that God wants us to come into our lives . How? is living by faith in the Lamb of God who takes away the sin and God does so live and act in us and this makes us to follow him where the lamb lead us to victory.
1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of King Ciro.605 to 536 BC . Paso 70 years of captivity
* Many years remained steadfast Daniel in a life of total victory. Must be all our lives today not walk well and then throw my Christianity and then I take it and go on a seesaw .
