THE TEN . AND PERSEVERANCE

As we see today are the true believers and false.

¹ Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

³ They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

⁴ But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

⁵ While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

⁶ And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

⁷ Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

⁸ And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

⁹ But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

¹¹ Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

¹² But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

¹³ Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Introduction: the 5 wise represent the believers and the 5 foolish virgins represent the unbelievers. The lamp represents the light, the testimonio.-The husband is Christ, the arrival is his second coming, the wait is what believers expect today, his coming, the oil is the Holy Spirit, the wise speak of the character of believers . The unwise are evil.

1) The lamp: da Luz and is what we give, in Revelation 1:20 speaks of the lamps as it is the Church because the Church is emitted by the light of Christ. - Here in this parable even the foolish had lampsbut not the container with oil. This reminds me of the religious who want to make many things apparently by the Lord, we have examples of the Pharisees and Sadducees. had only appearance but were empty. The light in them is darkness. Do not go out last long once the good works do not last because they have no fuel. -

2) DO NOT TAKE OIL: Oil we believe it represents in various parts of the Bible the Holy Spirit, we believe that here too. The anointing of priests representing the anointing of the Spirit. - Exo 29:7 Then thou shalt take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
 In Zechariah 4. This chapter notes that the oil represents the Holy Spirit. -
 Zec 4:12 I spoke a second time, and said: What are the two olive branches which are beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?
4:6 he continued, and said, This is the word of the LORD to Soro babel: "Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit" - says the LORD of hosts.
 Them in this parable can not give birth without fuel, without the Spirit can not give light, the light will be darkness. -
 That is the great neglect of religious carelessness big, huge is to live their lives without God in them and that ensures its own destruction. the light goes out when they have the Holy Spirit or God in them. Many leave to Christianity, leave the church fellowship with brothers left, the cut because they have the Holy Spirit, so as they turned off the light at the five foolish, and are living off the apparent Christian who does not have within the Holy Spirit. -
Today we have the Spirit through faith in Christ Jesus. We see in Galatians and in John and elsewhere. Gal 3:14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

3) TAKE THE OIL: THE HOLY SPIRIT: This is the explanation why the virgins were wise, no other, they have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does a wonderful job of keeping vigilant and cautious until the coming of the Lord. Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit and works miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Staying in fidelity to the end is for those who have the Holy Spirit. - Matt. 24:13 But he who endures to the end will be saved.
The last true believers faithful for many years, there is that they go to those truly converted
1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, would have continued with us: but they went, to be plain that not all of us.

4) THE BELIEVERS MUST ENSURE:

Matthew 25:5 As the bridegroom be delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
Even the wise are asleep, that reminds us that we have the Spirit we slept well because of the wait and neglect in our faith. - Thus the exhortation of the Lord: Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye knowneither the day nor the hour.
Brothers who have the Spirit, we must be alert, active. If one is left to gather for either no oil or fell asleep. Pastors should exhort the believers to stay with fruit in their lives and firm to show that are wise and not foolish. Well sometimes it is outside things, all have lamps and all are similar, what distinguishes the two is whether or not the Spirit. And it shows by the fruit, so if you failed to gather the most logical thing is to stop reading the Bible and then leave especially if it is foolish. Given these symptoms have to react. Believers should tell those who departed to become and if they are converted to show or else we will be praying for unbelievers to have the Spirit and not lost in Hell. -
Only if we can ensure we have the Spirit, We await his coming, this must be an important doctrine. -

 Chapter 24 of Matthew teaches both expect his coming that according to Revelation is soon soon. -
CONCLUSION: We need to have the Holy Spirit, be sure that what we have, makes all the difference between being foolish or wise, and we stand firm until the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. -
